2023 Charity Golf Day supporting O2e
Published on:The rain held off for the 60 golfers attending our annual charity golf day at North Hants Golf Club, supporting one of our affiliated charities, O2e.
15 teams from many industries took to the fairways on a typically tough track that had just hosted a British Open Qualifier last week.
Cleaning and Hygiene industry faces were representing for many of our suppliers including Metsa Tissue, Lucart, Midland Paper and SoluCLEAN. We also had the support from several customers including MAR Services, Clean King and JCD Cleaning.
As always, we were humbled by the generosity of all our guests. Companies sponsored holes on the course and individuals all purchased raffle tickets which in itself generated over £2,000. The total raised will be well over £3,000.
All funds raised went directly to Ordinary2extraordinary, a children's charity we have supported for over 13 years. 100% of funds they collect is given directly to children and their families who need support. O2e runs on a volunteer basis and has raised over £3m since 2006.
Many of our guests pulled out their best form with many shooting points in the mid 30's. But it was one the JEM Energy team, Josh Green, who took the win with a stonking 40 points.
His performance contributed to the team win for the solar panel lads too, with their epic score of 95 being enough the claim the 2023 victory with ease. Special mentions to the Finda and Gartner teams for firing in the high 80's.
One of the two Source teams with guests Marcus and Ben from SoluCLEAN and Signwrite Studios respectively
