Before & After - ECO-DET in action!
Published on:Source was contacted by Clean-Worx FM in the north of England who needed a specific type of cleaning agent for a sensitive site in the energy sector.
The task at hand was to clean 9 floors of steel and aluminium sheeting that had started to rust due to steam generated on site and not being watertight during construction. They needed a product that was non-toxic, safe to use, natural, biodegradable and substrate compatible, but had to be able to perform at the highest levels.
The choice was easy for whilst looking at options. TECcare ECO-DET had the natural and non-toxic ingredients needed in the brief but packs a big punch. So much so, that it’s hard to believe that it is actually plant based!
The Process
With only a light application using the Nap Sprayer and ECO-DET at 1:84 dilution we performed a number of patch tests across the site.
We waited a couple of minutes and used a small scouring pad and microfibre cloth to remove the grime and rust.
The results speak for themselves!
ECO-DET can also be used in scrubber-drier machines for large scale jobs.
Clean-Worx FM has now been contracted to roll this out over the whole site and Source will offer continued support to ensure that the highest standards are delivered, whilst reducing their carbon footprint.
