Public Toilets - The Ultimate Challenge Accepted!

Working with our sister company, AJ Supplies, we are helping solve the ultimate issue when it comes to washrooms.

The team at Weymouth Town Council in Dorset are committed to improving the user experience in the bustling seaside town.

Hot summer days combined with uric acid creates an unbearable experience and unacceptable level of hygiene. 

Ryan and Ollie visited the worst of the toilet blocks, armed with TECcare products and immediately went to task.

To set the baseline, we always agree a score out of 10 with the customer when we first arrive. 

This was a comfortable 9/10 in the urinal block that has two stainless steel urinal toughs with two feeble urinal mats.

Odours were originating from the pipework (uric crystals), floors and urinal trough surfaces.

Spray the entire area with Control. Using a NAP sprayer, all areas can be reached and therefore disinfected. 

Control can eliminate airborne urine odours on hard surfaces. The area is made safe for the work to begin.

We performed a flow test with a bucket of water. Timing this establishes the flow rate and gives the first metric.

It also is a safety precaution as the water will flush any other cleaning product (or bleach) that may be sitting in the trap after ‘cleaning’.

To begin the multistep process of softening and clearing the uric crystals, we use ULTRA diluted, straight into the urinal.

If we have access to the cistern, we will add a chamber (25ml) of ULTRA.
