Robert Scott Reducing Their Environmental Impact

Robert Scott, a fourth-generation family business specialising in commercial cleaning products, have posted some impressive data.

Their sustainable highlights include:

  • 170 tonnes of CO2 saved each year by a hydo-electric scheme
  • 100 tonnes of virgin plastic saved each year by moving to recycled plastic
  • 330 solar panels reducing our site’s energy consumption by 50%

Additionally, Robert Scott are ISO14001 certified and aim to be carbon neutral by 2045.

By using a zero-carbon energy provider, Robert Scott have reduced carbon emissions by 3.5% over the last 4 years.

Plastic waste is a key for the business. Robert Scott have diverted 7 tonnes of plastic waste from landfill since 2021.

The company is aiming for a fully hybrid fleet of vehicles by 2030.

CSR is high on their list of responsible practises.

Robert Scott helped fund Bright Future School for autistic children.
